This is one of the lost episodes. Even the episode guides don’t have much information on it.

No Subway Intro: Sonny & Cher and Chastity instead are trick-or-treating for Halloween. Cher asks Chastity if she’s nervous since this is her first Halloween outing. Sonny responds saying “Not as long as I’m with you two.” Chastity knocks on the door of Jerry Lewis, who offers very bad treats, like a chocolate covered yo-yos and an Egg McMuffin (they had Egg McMuffins back then?).

Opening Song: “I Need You”
Cover of the Beatles (1965)

Banter: They talk about Halloween and Sonny indicates they are both dressed in orange.

At the Launderette:  Olivia and Laverne talk about Laverne’s husband Harry who is accusing her of having an affair with the milkman because she has whipped cream in the fridge. Olivia asks how much whipped cream she has and Laverne says 28 pints. Jerry Lewis joins as Arnold and they talk about how he got hurt doing the tango in reference to the 1972 film Last Tango in Paris. Lewis does a Humphrey Bogart impersonation.

Solo: “That’s Life”
Probably a cover of Frank Sinatra (1966)

Cultural Spot: Freeman King introduces his parents, Frank and Stein and introduces “Man of La Monster” a musical with the Wolfman, Dracula and Igor. Sonny plays the Evil Count Bono.

Skit: Sonny visits a school for quitting smoking. Jerry is the doctor and Cher is the assistant. The skit is about code words for quitting.

Concert: Ramblin Man
Cover of the Allman Brothers Band (1973)
